Los Angeles, California – A shocking fatal accident has shaken the Hollywood community, temporarily shutting down all northbound lanes on the 101 Freeway.
The tragic incident occurred near the intersection with Wilton Place, shortly after midnight, according to reports from the California Highway Patrol (CHP).
Preliminary investigations suggest the pedestrian was within the traffic lanes when struck by a moving vehicle. So far, the identity of the deceased pedestrian has not been disclosed, and the circumstances leading to the person being on the freeway remain unclear.
Following the Hollywood Freeway 101 accident, a Sigalert was issued, closing all northbound lanes, resulting in congestion and traffic delays.
Fortunately, the lanes have since been reopened, though the emotional impact of the accident lingers in the community.
