Young Woman Becomes Victim in Single-Vehicle Accident in Thermal

Riverside County, California – The Riverside County Coroner’s Office has confirmed the identity of the victim in a car accident in Thermal as Perla Reyes Díaz, a 22-year-old woman.

The California Highway Patrol received a call at 11:48 a.m. reporting a single-vehicle accident in Thermal, specifically at the intersection of Harrison Street and 68th Avenue.

According to preliminary investigations, Miss Reyes Díaz, who was driving the vehicle, was traveling northbound on Harrison Street when, for reasons still unknown, she lost control of her truck.

Tragically, as a result of the loss of control, Reyes Díaz was ejected from the vehicle and pronounced dead at the scene. There were no other individuals present in the vehicle at the time of the accident, suggesting that the young woman was traveling alone at the time of the fateful incident.

This unfortunate incident has left the Thermal community in shock. Authorities continue to investigate the exact causes that led to this tragic outcome. Meanwhile, friends and family mourn the loss of Perla Reyes Díaz, remembering her with fondness and affection.
