Stockton, California – A tragic incident occurred on Highway 99, southbound, near Cherokee Road in the Stockton area.
According to reports from the California Highway Patrol, a driver died in an accident after their vehicle overturned and collided with a pole on Wednesday night, causing significant disruptions to traffic along the southbound side of the highway.
According to the Stockton division of the California Highway Patrol, the incident occurred around 6:30 p.m. when the vehicle overturned before violently colliding with a pole along Highway 99 southbound.
The impact blocked at least one lane, causing significant delays and congestion in the area throughout the night. Emergency teams arriving at the scene pronounced the driver dead at the scene.
