San Bernardino, California – On Monday afternoon in Hesperia, a multi-vehicle accident triggered chaos in both directions of Interstate 15. At 2:07 p.m. on October 2, 2023, a shocking incident occurred on the southbound I-15, between Main and Joshua Streets.
According to California Highway Patrol incident records, the accident involved 5-6 vehicles, causing a significant obstruction on the roadway. Among the vehicles involved were a silver Chevy pickup truck and a 4-door sedan.
Fortunately, the person reporting the incident confirmed that there were no injuries in any of the three mentioned vehicles. However, the status of the other vehicles stopped in front of them was uncertain at that time.
The chaos on the highway also affected a Walmart semi-truck, which was located 3/4 of a mile south of the crash. The truck driver reported that one of the vehicles involved brushed against his truck during the collision. As a result of this situation, an ambulance was requested at 2:44 p.m. to attend to someone with a shoulder injury due to the traffic accident.
CHP records reported that a total of 6 vehicles were involved in this accident. The cause of this unfortunate incident is currently under investigation by the California Highway Patrol station in Victorville.
