Fresno, California – An individual is facing charges after an accident occurred due to driving under the influence near Highway 99 in Fresno, according to the California Highway Patrol.
Authorities responded to a crash in the area of Highway 99 and Olive Avenue in Fresno on Sunday, May 5, 2024. According to CHP reports, a sedan entered the highway from the entrance ramp and collided with a Tacoma truck.
This incident resulted in serious injuries to the sedan driver, while the Tacoma driver suffered minor injuries. Additionally, both vehicles sustained considerable damage during the accident.
Following the accident investigation, authorities determined that the sedan driver was under the influence of alcohol at the time of the crash. As a result, the DUI driver was arrested.
