Community Events Canceled in the Aftermath
The consequences of the tragedy were deeply felt across the local community. Two Fourth of July fireworks shows in San Joaquin County were canceled out of respect and concern:
- The New Stockton 99 Speedway event scheduled for the night of July 4

Ongoing Investigation
The Yolo County Sheriff’s Department and CAL FIRE’s Fire and Explosives Investigation Unit are still assessing remaining explosive hazards and working to determine the cause of the disaster.

Out of respect for the families, the names of the victims will not be released until formal identification is confirmed.
