Fresno, California – A fatal crash has prompted a partial closure of Highway 41 just south of Fresno on the night of Thursday, May 9, 2024.
The incident occurred on the highway, specifically at South Avenue, leaving a vehicle trapped under a semi-truck trailer.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the crash has resulted in at least one fatality.
At this time, it has not been confirmed if other individuals were injured in the accident.
As a result of the collision, northbound lanes of Highway 41 have been closed at South Avenue while authorities continue their investigations. Traffic is being diverted off the highway at Manning Avenue.
