Minors Cause Serious Sacramento Traffic Accident

Sacramento, California – Three individuals sustained injuries in a Sacramento traffic accident on the night of Wednesday, April 10, 2024, where a vehicle, operated by minors, apparently ran a red light and collided.

According to reports from the California Highway Patrol (CHP), the incident occurred near the intersection of Madison Avenue and Jackson Street in North Highlands, around 8 p.m.

According to the CHP, the car driven by the minors collided with another vehicle after running the red light, traveling northbound on Jackson Street. They then continued their path until stopping in a nearby parking lot after colliding with a second car.

A woman, an occupant of the vehicle allegedly hit by the minors, suffered a leg fracture, while one of the minors also sustained a fractured leg.

Officials from the Sacramento Metropolitan Fire District indicated that a total of three people were transported to the hospital, although it was not specified who the other injured individuals were.

According to the CHP, the car driven by one of the minors was carrying three people inside. While two of them remained at the scene of the accident, the third fled.

At the moment, no further details are available about the incident. However, the CHP stated that they do not suspect the vehicle was involved in any criminal activity, such as theft.
