Motorcycle Engulfed in Flames after Collision with Car in Cajon Pass

San Bernardino County, California – A serious accident occurred on Sunday, February 25, 2024, in the evening in Cajon Pass, leaving a motorcyclist injured. The California Highway Patrol and firefighters from the San Bernardino County Fire Department responded to the incident around 8:36 p.m.

The motorcyclist, in their swift journey between lanes, collided with a vehicle before losing control and crashing into the rear of a Honda. The impact caused the motorcycle to suddenly burst into flames, engulfing the scene in fire.

Despite the severity of the accident, the motorcyclist was found lying in the median, conscious, and communicating with rescue personnel. They were transported by ground ambulance with serious but stable injuries, with no life-threatening risk.

The driver of the Honda, who is pregnant, was also taken to the hospital by ground ambulance as a precautionary measure.
