San Francisco Accident: 4-Year-Old Girl Dies and Parents Injured

According to a statement issued by the San Francisco Police Department, an unfortunate incident in San Francisco claimed the life of a 4-year-old girl and injured her parents.

SFPD crews acted promptly at the intersection of 4th Street and King Street around 5:15 p.m. in response to a tragic accident involving a vehicle and pedestrians. The victims, who were pedestrians and were walking peacefully as a family, were abruptly struck, causing serious injuries. 

Both parents and their daughter were transported to the hospital with serious, life-threatening injuries. Sadly, the child passed away at the medical center.

The child, who lost her life in the fatal accident, was traveling in a stroller. Her father, also seriously injured, is currently fighting to recover from his injuries. It has been confirmed that the family was visiting the city at the time of the accident.

After the crash, the car involved was trapped against a pole. The driver remained at the scene, as confirmed by police. Substance or alcohol use is not suspected to have played a role in the incident.
