Inglewood, California — A serious accident at SoFi Stadium left multiple people injured on the night of Saturday, June 14, when a sedan drove onto a crowded sidewalk just after the CONCACAF Gold Cup match between Mexico and the Dominican Republic. The crash happened around 10:30 p.m. outside SoFi Stadium and the adjacent Intuit Dome. Witnesses reported that the vehicle’s front end was utterly crushed. The driver, who was also hospitalized, allegedly told police he “fell asleep at the wheel.”
