Authorities reported that a semi-truck was transporting a prefabricated house when it was involved in an accident with another semi-truck and a Honda CRV on Highway 210. A woman who was in the rest area of the second truck was taken to a hospital for treatment following the accident.
Tarane Black, the driver of the second semi-truck, explained that he had stopped on the shoulder due to mechanical issues with his vehicle before the accident. “Suddenly, that load came, I guess they couldnโt brake or something and hit the back of my truck,” Black recounted.
The incident caused significant traffic jams on westbound Highway 210, with several lanes closed until Tuesday morning. Authorities worked diligently to clear the roadway and resume normal traffic as soon as possible.
