Victim Identified in Fatal Car Accident in Fresno

The Fresno County Coroner’s Office has identified the man who lost his life in a car accident in east-central Fresno on Tuesday night. Timothy Aguilar, a 32-year-old resident of Fresno, tragically died in the crash.

The accident took place around 9:45 p.m. at the intersection of McKinley and Helm Avenues, near Fresno Yosemite International Airport. According to the Fresno Police, a pickup truck collided with a tree following an accident with another vehicle.

After the crash, officers pulled the driver of the pickup truck, identified only as a man in his 20s, out of the vehicle before it caught fire. The man was urgently taken to a local hospital, where he, unfortunately, passed away.

A woman traveling in the other vehicle was also transported to the hospital with minor injuries. The cause of the accident is still under investigation by the authorities.
