Sacramento, California – A tragedy occurred on Monday night in the Sacramento area, as a pedestrian lost his life after being struck by a vehicle along a highway.
The fatal accident took place around 11:15 p.m. on southbound Highway 99, near Calvine Road. According to reports from the California Highway Patrol in Sacramento, the pedestrian was crossing between lanes when they were hit by the vehicle.
