Clovis, California – A man lost his life after a presumed medical episode led to him colliding with two other vehicles, according to the Clovis Police Department.
This fatal crash in Clovis occurred around 2 p.m. near the intersection of Herndon and Willow Avenues. Initially, police reported four vehicles were involved in the accident but later revised it down to three.
Investigators determined that a driver was traveling eastbound on Herndon Avenue when they crossed the center divider and collided head-on with two other vehicles.
Police officers reported that the driver who crossed the center divider died at the scene of the accident. Of the other two vehicles involved, only one driver was transported to a local hospital due to complaints of chest pain.
Herndon Avenue westbound between Willow and Helm Avenues is closed as investigators determine what caused the accident. Investigators believe the individual was experiencing some form of medical episode at the time of the collision.
