[Los Angeles, CA] On Sunday, a car recklessly plowed into an Irwindale commercial building and severely injured two people. At around 5:30 pm, the Los Angeles County Fire Department was immediately called in to attend East Arrow Highway and Calmview Street where this fatal crash occurred.
The crash left a massive gaping hole in the building’s facade, with fragments of the car’s engine embedded inside. Jonathan Martinez, one of the business owners in the area, said that even his brother’s truck was not spared and was damaged too during this chaotic incident. Irwindale police took the necessary precautions to ensure that their citizens were safe and closed the eastbound lanes of Arrow Highway, near Calmview Street. After a short period of time, all lanes have since been reopened for public use again.
