Head-On Collision in San Pablo Claims Two Lives and Leaves One in Critical Condition

San Pablo, California – In a tragic night in San Pablo, two lives were lost, and a third is hanging by a thread in critical condition after a shocking head-on collision, according to reports from law enforcement authorities.

San Pablo police reported that a man and a woman were traveling west on El Portal Drive when, unfortunately, they ended up crossing into the oncoming lanes. The fateful incident occurred just before 1 a.m. on Wednesday, December 6, 2023, when their vehicle collided head-on with another car.

Tragically, the man involved lost his life at the scene of the accident. On the other hand, the woman was urgently transported to the hospital but, unfortunately, also succumbed to her injuries. The driver of the second car involved in this unfortunate incident was immediately taken to the hospital, where he is now fighting for his life in critical condition.

As a result of this tragic head-on collision in San Pablo, the stretch of El Portal Drive near Glenlock Street has been temporarily closed. Authorities have initiated a thorough investigation to clarify the circumstances that led to this fatal crash and determine possible responsibilities.

This tragic incident serves as a reminder of the fragility of life and the need to drive responsibly.
