(Bakersfield, CA) A motorcyclist has died as a result of negligence at State Road and Airport Drive.
The Bakersfield Police Department reported a fatal collision at State Road and Airport Drive that claimed the life of an innocent individual when a reckless driver ran a red light and fatally struck the motorcyclist.
The accident was reported at 11:15 a.m. at the intersection of State Road. When officers arrived, they found the motorcyclist lying on the road with severe injuries. The victim was transported to the nearest hospital and succumbed to their injuries a few hours later.
