One Injured in Accident on Grapevine Road, Bakersfield

(Bakersfield, CA) At least one person was injured in an accident involving a semi-truck carrying soda cans and water in the northbound direction of Interstate 5 south of Bakersfield.

According to information from the California Highway Patrol’s accident information page, the accident was reported around 8:15 p.m. just south of Grapevine Road and delayed traffic for several hours while the incident was investigated and the area was cleaned up.

At least one person was transported to the hospital with injuries; their identity and condition are currently unknown. The accident is under investigation, and authorities were responsible for cleaning up cans and bottles on the road.
