One Student Dead and Four Injured in Placentia Accident

Orange County, California – A tragic accident in Placentia on the morning of Tuesday, June 4, claimed the life of a high school student and left four others injured. The incident occurred around 8:15 a.m. at the intersection of Yorba Linda Boulevard and Valencia Avenue.

Classmates and loved ones identified the deceased student as Zach Henn, a 17-year-old junior at El Dorado High School. Henn was on his way to school driving his 1984 Corvette, a car he had purchased just a few weeks ago. Another minor was also in the car with him.

The accident happened when, apparently, Henn’s Corvette was struck by a Range Rover driven by a 39-year-old woman. The Range Rover also had two minor passengers. The police have not yet determined whether one of the drivers ran a red light at the intersection.

The other four individuals involved in the accident were injured and transported to nearby hospitals. The police have not disclosed the severity of their injuries, but it is known that they are receiving medical treatment. Authorities are continuing to investigate the cause of the accident to clarify the events and determine liability.

The tragic death of Zach Henn and the injuries sustained by four others in the Placentia accident serve as a heartbreaking reminder of the dangers we face on the roads.

Our thoughts are with the victim’s family and friends during this difficult time.
