Los Angeles, California – “Succession” and “Ferris Bueller’s Day Off” actor Alan Ruck was reportedly involved in a multi-vehicle collision in Hollywood on Tuesday, which sent his truck crashing into a pizzeria.
Shortly after 9 p.m. on Tuesday, multiple witnesses reported a multi-vehicle crash in Los Angeles, where one of the vehicles crashed into a building on La Brea Avenue, said a spokesperson for the Los Angeles Police Department.
The front of the truck crashed into the building housing Raffallo’s Pizzeria, reported our sister station KABC. Two heavily damaged sedans were seen in the middle of the intersection; apparently, one of them had been rear-ended before colliding into the driver’s side of the other car.
The Los Angeles Fire Department said a 32-year-old man was transported to a hospital in an unknown condition. The LAPD spokesperson said an ambulance was requested for two individuals: a 40-year-old woman complaining of arm pain, and a 25-year-old man who suffered unknown injuries.
A police report was taken at the scene, according to the LAPD. No citations or arrests were announced. The Urban Search and Rescue team from the Fire Department assessed the building and the truck before the rear part of the vehicle was hooked with a chain and removed from the structure.
Officials from the Department of Building and Safety also responded to the accident site to determine the building’s condition for occupancy, according to the Fire Department.
Police said it’s unknown if drugs or alcohol played a role in the collision. The cause of the accident remains under investigation.
